My son placed into Calculus 1 (he just finished 10th grade)
Got my son’s compass math placement score. He just finished 10th grade. He scored high enough on the test where it says he should skip straight to calculus 1. The test proctor said it was the highest score she’d ever seen any high school student make (and she’d been there a while) He scored almost perfect on the algebra section. He scored a high “B” on the college trigonometry section (he has never sat in a trig class - all self taught). So we are off to the counselor tomorrow at the high school to see if he can ‘clep’ out of college algebra and skip pre-cal trig and go straight to cal 1. He has studied so hard on his own. I’m really proud of him.
